Seton Hall University has embraced the use of electronic portfolios (ePortfolios) as a university initiative since 2003. ePortfolios represent a more holistic picture of student growth than grades on a transcript and offer the student a vehicle to tell their own story, encouraging creative expression and identity. Students are given the opportunity in the University Life course, through electronic portfolios, to take ownership of their educational path via the collection, reflection, and celebration process.
