Some students were wondering why they can only change the author of a page to their shortname and not their full name. If the drop down box for changing the author doesn’t include an option with your full name, it is because you have not told Worpress what your full name is. In order to do this, click on the “Howdy, Your Name” on the top right of the WordPress navigation bar at the very top of your screen. You will be redirected to your “Edit Profile” page. Add a first and last name and then click “Update Profile”. Then, try to change the author of the page.
